Over the years, Post Production facilities have relied on Dynamix to keep their business on the leading edge of technology. In years past we have seen edit suites struggle with efficiencies where all of their media was located in each suite. This leads to multiple copies of media and costs of external storage going through the roof. Today with shared storages from Facilis Technology and Avid, facilities can have their media in one location while everyone has access to it.
Moving forward Dynamix is not only helping Post Production facilities design these new workflows but is designing facilities with multiple locations be able to edit efficiently and seamlessly as if the editor was on-premises.

One of the most critical processes in Post Production is screening the finished product. After hours of editing and colour correcting, audio post and sound effects, it all comes together in the screening. Dynamix has the experience to design and install such a critical room. From HDR Laser Projection by Christie and Sony, to Dolby ATMOS sound for both small screen and theatrical productions.

In the Post Production cycle, one of the most critical steps is Colour Correction. From scene to scene colour matching, to HDR colour correction, Dynamix has the tools a facility requires to meet these tasks. The ability to do a proper colour correction session in HDR is becoming more and more necessary and to do this requires extremely colour accurate tools from Sony, Christie, AJA, and BlackMagic Designs.

Editorial and Archive
The process of editorial has been the same since the beginning of movies. What has changed are the tools that are used, how they are used and now, where they are used. Editorial has typically happened in a single facility where the media and equipment are located. Today there is a shift towards working remotely. At Dynamix, we have been doing this for years now. Setting up facilities to have their main assets located and protected on-premises, while having proxy media sent remotely for editors to work off-site.
By simply emailing a sequence back to base, it can be re-linked to the high-resolution media. With most shows this high-resolution media not only takes up a huge amount of storage space, but is very valuable. Many insurance companies require the facility to have an archive or backup solution in the event of a catastrophic failure.
